Psalm 22

This painting was originally created years ago, and recently improved. It depicts the brutality Jesus endured to atone for our sins. In fact, it is only a slight representation of what He went through. Herein, He is telling John to take care of His mother. Notice part of His beard has been pulled out, which was done in the Sanhedrin for His "blasphemy." The soldiers are gambling for his cloak, and the centurion is looking on.


It hung in a church I attended. Some complained because it is hard to look at.
